Reader Forum > Werewolves or Vampires?
Sorry Stephanie, neither? While both can be fierce and passionate I suppose, where is the love for other ;) "three-legged beasties", too? Thought Ms.O Connor's Bee-men and other hybrids were new and interesting. The worlds of myth, legend, and science are fertile ground to barrow (sp?) from, along with the clock-works or steam-punk possibilities. Swamp-thing, Big-foot, sea-monsters, time-jumpers, super-heroes, too why not! or mix and match...

Werewolves! Not just because of the close, pack-like mentality. I just like werewolves. Vampires are so... cold. =\

Full blooded, probably neither. I used werewolves to create a bad guy race in my Zogone saga. But,I do have a character that is half-vampire/ half-human and he is great. The all male, wounded soul, desperate to be with the girl, but doesn't think he is good enough. So I'll go with him. Other vamps, it would depend on the hero. :)

I like both as long as the characters are extreme alpha males.

Opps, I didn't say why. Personally, I prefer male characters that are out of this world. Aliens, shapeshifters, vampires, etc. When I read a book I want it to take me on a ride to somewhere I've never been. The only typical romance/ erotica I enjoy is normally historical based. Once again, even that is pure fantasy since I doubt I'll find a magic carpet ride to the past. I also always select those books based on the alpha male content.

Werewolves, definitely I like my men warm and living.
