Nikki Watson likes to write dark fantasy with strong romantic undertones. She is most happy when holed away in her study with her laptop in front of her, and ideas for her latest novel streaming onto the page.

She is currently a full time student of Writing and Editing and spends her time in candle lit, incense burning rooms where she sits in front of her laptop lifeline, writing away with a mad intensity that often has her forgetting to eat, sleep or remember what time it is she's supposed to leave for school.

For the last four years, Nikki has taken it onto herself to see more of the world that she writes about, and has traveled across New Zealand, the UK and Ireland. She is now happily settled in Melbourne with two house mates and, woefully, no cats.

She loves to hear feedback from anyone who has enjoyed her writing, and answers all emails regularly.
