Fiona Neal grew up in New England, and it remains one of her favorite spots in the world. She also loves the British Isles. Naturally, she has chosen these locations for the settings for her books. She has also spent seven weeks in Austria one summer, studying music.

She now lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with her husband, Luther, and their pet beagle, Russell. She enjoys reading, music, quilting, baking, sewing, and travel traveling. Of course, she loves to write.
